ABOUT PEDER

I have specialized in internal medicine  and geriatrics, former ass. prof. in geriatrics at University of Southern Denmark. Medical top leader  since 1990 at different hospitals and from 2007 until 2020 Chief Executive and Medical Director at Odense University Hospital (OUH). 

Initiator of EHR at hospitals in Denmark. I have been working with telemedicine solutions since 2000, and I am founder of Center of Medical Technologies at OUH 2014. Board member at www.patient@home, the biggest welfare tech. project in Denmark ever.

I have performed matchmaking between public organisations and private companies and supervised many young entrepreneurs. I am a requested lecturer and keynotespeaker in Denmark and in international contexts.

I have been chairman of numerous working groups and boards and I am trained in top leader management and handling of medias.

Since 2000  and until now I have been mentoring and coaching several people, big companies, National and Regional organisations, up start companies  and international contacts within the healthcare sector. I am still productive in performing publications and columns about health innovation-  

 

I appear as an openminded and presentable human being with a good sense of pragmatism and humor. I consider myself as a leader of compassion. I am still fit for figth to work with management and innovation that might help citizens and health professionals-
